Dale Barbara, Barbie to his friends, is a short-order cook at the
Sweetbriar Rose - owned by the sweet lady herself, Rose Twitchell.

Barbie hasn't been in the Mill long, but long enough to get on the
wrong side of Jim Rennie Jnr. & friends. And after the trouble in
Dipper's parking lot he decided to leave Chester's Mill for good.

And then the Dome came down.

Or appeared. No-one quite knows how it got there, or what it is.
Only sure thing is that if he'd left a few seconds earlier he
would've been out of the Mill for good. And if there's anything
Barbie can't abide, it's being stuck in a small town with its small
town mentality. Not to mention the likes of Big Jim Rennie.

But there's something about Barbie that no-one their side
of the Dome knows . . .
